Award-winning American drummer who was part of the Foo Fighters band, Taylor Hawkins, has died at the age of 50.

Taylor Hawkins died on March 25, 2022, in the United States of America.

Taylor Hawkins joined the Foo Fighters band in 1997. Previously, Tylor was a touring drummer for Sass Jordan and Alanis Morissette. That’s not all, he was also the drummer in the progressive experimental band Sylvia.

Foo Fighters band who was supposed to perform in Bogotá, Colombia, for the Festival Estereo Picnic followed by Lollapalooza Brasil on Sunday with Taylor Hawkins, announced his death.

In a statement, Foo Fighters described how devastated they are.

“The Foo Fighters family is devastated by the tragic and untimely loss of our beloved Taylor Hawkins. His musical spirit and infectious laughter will live on with all of us forever,”

“Our hearts go out to his wife, children, and family, and we ask that their privacy be treated with the utmost respect in this unimaginably difficult time.”

Meanwhile, Taylor Hawkins’ cause of death is not yet disclosed.

Taylor Hawkins will be buried in the United States but his funeral arrangement is yet to be communicated by his family.
